Apply & track with Apply EdgeSenior Construction Project ManagerAn established construction and property consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its Belfast team.This is a senior, client-facing opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of major projects, develop client relationships and play an active role in business growth and team development.You will work across a varied project portfolio including commercial, healthcare, education, residential, infrastructure, public sector, regeneration and mixed-use developments.The RoleAs Senior Project Manager, you will take a leading role in the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion, acting as a trusted advisor to clients.Key responsibilities include:Leading projects through feasibility, design, procurement, construction and completionActing as the primary client contact and providing strategic project adviceEstablishing and managing project governance structuresDeveloping project programmes, delivery strategies and reporting frameworksLeading multidisciplinary consultant and stakeholder teamsManaging project scope, programme, quality, budget and performanceIdentifying and managing project risks and mitigation strategiesOverseeing procurement and consultant/contractor appointmentsManaging change control and providing commercial and strategic adviceChairing senior project meetings and presenting project reportsSupporting contract administration and statutory approvalsBuilding and maintaining long-term client relationshipsSupporting business development and fee managementMentoring and developing junior team membersAbout YouDegree qualified in Construction Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Surveying or a related disciplineStrong experience delivering construction/property projects within consultancy, client-side or contractor environmentsStrong knowledge of project management methodologies and governanceProven experience managing projects across the full project lifecycleGood knowledge of NEC, JCT or similar construction contractsExcellent client-facing and stakeholder management skillsStrong leadership and multidisciplinary team management experienceExcellent programme, risk, reporting and commercial management skillsExperience with business development, client relationship management and fee managementStrategic thinker with strong problem-solving skillsExperience mentoring and developing junior professionalsChartered status such as MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or equivalent is preferred but not essentialWhat’s on OfferHigh-profile and varied projects across multiple sectorsDirect exposure to senior leadership and clientsGenuine career progression and leadership opportunitiesProfessional membership and chartership supportTraining, mentoring and structured career developmentOpportunity to contribute to business growth and develop long-term client relationships
