Senior Consultant-Business Transformation

You have spent four or more years learning how to walk into a room where nobody agrees on the problem, and walk out with a diagnosis people believe. We are looking for someone who wants to keep doing exactly that - for one client, again and again, and stay long enough to watch it work.Business Transformation is the internal consultancy of the Euromaster Group - a European tyre services and maintenance network present in 17 countries, with around 10,000 employees. We advise the business across the whole of that footprint, and our work is sponsored at Board level. Our clients are our colleagues: Operations, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Data, and the Support Functions. This means the only thing that earns us the next engagement is the quality of the last one.Why this is different from where you are nowYou get one client, in depth. You stop re-learning an organization every couple of months. Your second engagement starts from everything you learned in the first, and by year two you know the business better than most of the people you are advising.You stay for the landing. You are there for the business case, the as-is, the design, the implementation, the go-live and the change management. No selling, no utilization targets. Your time goes into the work. Travel happens when the engagement genuinely needs you in the room.Real exposure, early on. You present your own work to the sponsors who decide, including at Board level. You have your consulting partner’s support all the way.A department still being built. Structures, methods and standards are continuously evolving. If you have opinions about how consulting should be done, there is somewhere to put them.What you will actually doYou will own your engagements end to end, on your own. Scoping the problem with the sponsor, structuring the analysis, building the model, writing the recommendation, defending it, and steering it through delivery.There is no analyst pyramid underneath you: the hypothesis, the data, the deck and the steering committee are all yours. This is deliberate, and it is the single most important thing to be honest with yourself about before applying.You will be expected to:Frame the opportunity with an internal sponsor, work with stakeholders at all hierarchical levels to define scope and success criteria, and challenge the brief where the brief is wrong.Run the diagnostic: as-is assessment, data analysis, benchmarking and market research, root-cause work, and a solid business case.Select or design the methodology and approach: propose the most effective way to deliver engagements and reach objectives.Design the answer: target operating models, end-to-end process redesign, KPI frameworks and performance management, cost and efficiency improvement, digitalization, automation, just to name a few.Identify automation potential and build the use cases (RPA, AI and ML) and stay close enough to industry practice to know what is real and what a demo is.Carry it through implementation and come back afterwards to confirm the benefits actually landed.Build and hold the relationships - across the 17 countries of the Euromaster Group, across functions, across levels from analyst to Board.Run the workshops, write the reports, and deliver the presentations. Consulting craft still matters here.What we are looking forAbove everything else: an excellent generalist. Structured problem solving, fast learning, and enough intellectual confidence to be useful in a domain you had never heard of on Monday.Minimum 5 years in management consulting (Big Four, tier-two or boutique), on operations transformation, process re-engineering, cost optimization or digital transformation.Proven ownership at senior consultant level - you have taken a work stream from scoping to sign-off with a real client sponsor, without a manager rewriting your work before it went out.Independent and solution-oriented. Given an ambiguous problem and no team, you build a plan rather than wait for one.Excellent communication, written and spoken, with people of every background and seniority. Excellent report writing and presentation skills.Fluent English.Bachelor degree in Economics, Engineering or another relevant field.Nice to haveExposure to Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Procurement or Source-to-Pay, Supply Chain or Operations - useful, but we will take the sharper generalist over the narrower specialist every time.Experience in Automotive, Retail or a Shared Services environment.Certification in project management, Lean or Six Sigma, business analysis or change management.French or German.Where this leadsThe next steps from here are Expert - our most senior individual contributors, who take the hardest engagements and are supported by an analyst - and Manager, leading a portfolio and a team.
