🚀 Senior Consultant – Digital Finance | Cryptoasset Regulation📍 London / Hybrid | Minimum 3 days per week in the office💼 Permanent | Full-timeI’m currently recruiting for a Senior Consultant to join a growing Digital Finance practice, with a particular focus on cryptoasset regulation and compliance.This is a great opportunity for someone with practical experience in the cryptoasset sector who wants to work on a varied portfolio of advisory projects as the UK regulatory landscape continues to evolve.The roleYou’ll support and lead client engagements across areas including:FCA cryptoasset registrations and future FSMA authorisationRegulatory readiness and gap assessmentsRegulatory change and implementation programmesGovernance, risk and compliance framework designFinancial crime, sanctions and fraud riskFinancial promotions and conduct riskPrudential and operational resilienceCustody, client assets and technology controlsMarket integrity and conflicts of interestCompliance monitoring, assurance and remediationYou’ll also have significant exposure to senior stakeholders, leading workshops, producing regulatory submissions and reports, managing project workstreams and contributing to the development of the wider cryptoasset proposition.What we're looking forYou’ll ideally have:Practical experience working within or advising the cryptoasset sectorStrong knowledge of the evolving UK cryptoasset regulatory frameworkExperience translating regulatory requirements into practical policies, controls and governance arrangementsExperience across one or more of regulatory applications, regulatory change, compliance/risk frameworks, financial crime or assuranceExcellent communication and stakeholder-management skillsStrong project-management and organisational abilityThe confidence to exercise judgement and challenge senior stakeholders constructivelyExperience with MiCA, FCA engagement, financial promotions, blockchain analytics, Travel Rule, custody/wallet infrastructure, payments, e-money or banking would also be highly advantageous.You don't need to be an expert across every aspect of the emerging regulatory framework - strong grounding in cryptoasset regulation and the ability to continue developing your expertise is what matters.
