Senior Control Electronics EngineerOn behalf of our client, a fast-moving defense technology company building flight-critical systems for advanced strike vehicles, we're hiring a Senior Control Electronics Engineer with 3+ years of experience to design and deliver real-time electronic control systems. You'll be a hands-on engineer who personally owns hardware from design through bring-up, debug, validation, and integration, not someone who manages requirements from the sidelines.This is a high-impact role on a small, elite team building flight-critical systems at one of the fastest-moving defense companies in the country. If you have 3+ years of experience from a top-tier startup and are exceptional, we want to talk to you too.What You'll DoDesign control electronics boards (motor controllers, actuator drivers, feedback/control loops) for current and future flight vehiclesOwn your hardware end-to-end, from PCB design through bring-up, integration, debug, and productionWork with microcontrollers, microprocessors, and mixed-signal circuits with a focus on processing and real-time controlCollaborate closely with GNC, avionics, and flight software teams to ensure seamless system integrationDefine your own requirements and drive technical decisions; there are no systems engineers here, you own the full pictureWhat We're Looking For3+ years of experience in control electronics or embedded hardware design, ideally from a top-tier startup or aerospace/defense environmentStrong background in PCB design and hands-on bring-up, debug, and integrationExperience with microcontrollers, microprocessors, and mixed-signal circuit designProficiency with Altium, SPICE, and MATLAB/SimulinkExperience with ARM MCUsComfortable owning full technical scope independently, without a dedicated systems engineering functionRole DetailsSalary: $150K–$200KLocation: Los Angeles, CA (5 days on-site, Torrance)Full-timeCompetitive equityNot open to visa sponsorship (US citizens and Green Card holders only)Hiring 1–3 candidates for this role
