Main Responsibilities:Legal Advice & Recommendations Provide expert legal advice on matters involving UAE law, international law, and cryptocurrency-specific regulations.Offer legal solutions on the feasibility of the company's operations in new countries, particularly focusing on cryptocurrency and blockchain regulations.Contract Review & Drafting Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements, particularly those related to encryption and blockchain technology, to mitigate risks and protect the company’s interests.Compliance & Regulatory Governance Advise on compliance for operations in the UAE and international markets, ensuring adherence to the latest developments in cryptocurrency and blockchain compliance.Risk Management Identify legal risks specific to the crypto industry and provide proactive solutions to mitigate those risks and protect the company's interests.Dispute Resolution Oversee dispute resolution processes, including litigation, mediation, and arbitration, and coordinate with external legal counsel when necessary.Intellectual Property Protect the company’s intellectual property, particularly with respect to digital assets and blockchain technology, and assist with IP-related matters.Corporate Governance Support the company in maintaining best practices for corporate governance, especially in areas related to crypto and digital asset trading.Training & Education Provide training and education to internal teams on cryptocurrency compliance, legal issues, and best practices for managing legal risks in the industry.Qualifications and Requirements:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B), with a Master’s degree or equivalent qualifications preferred.Experience:At least 3 years of legal work experience specializing in UAE law and common law, with a preference for experience in the cryptocurrency, blockchain, or fintech industries.Licensing:Priority will be given to candidates holding a lawyer's license in the UAE or countries with common law legal systems.Knowledge:In-depth knowledge of UAE company law, commercial law, labor law, contract law, and criminal law.Familiarity with international trade law, dispute resolution, and cross-border regulatory compliance.Expertise in cryptocurrency regulations, blockchain compliance requirements, and industry best practices.Languages:Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential.Fluency in Arabic and Chinese will be a significant advantage.
