Job DescriptionThe Sr Corporate Counsel is a corporate generalist with health law experience who can address legal issues from a commercial perspective. Primary responsibilities include drafting and negotiating contracts of many types and counseling internal clients on a broad range of business, compliance, healthcare and regulatory (Federal and State) matters. The Sr Corporate Counsel will serve as a key strategic partner to our business teams.Salary Range: $180,000 to $230,000/year + 25% Annual Incentive Plan + LTISalary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Desirable experience includesA Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) or equivalent degree is required.Must be admitted to at least one state bar, or be eligible for licensure as a registered in-house counsel Juris Doctor DegreeMinimum of seven to ten years of experience as a practicing attorneyPrevious in-house experience is preferredSignificant experience in drafting and negotiating contracts in a health care settingExperience drafting and negotiating complex commercial health care agreementsHealthcare industry experience and familiarity with HIPAA and other U.S. privacy lawsExperience developing procedures and protocols for contract reviewsExperience in data analytics and/or consumer-facing health careStrong legal drafting skillsStrong interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and flexibility, and the ability to communicate effectively with partners at all levelsGood judgment and ability to maintain an objective perspective, particularly when resolving legal risk of clinical mattersAbility to work well independently and on a team, and the ability to prioritize effectivelyProficient using Artificial Intelligence tools for contracting and researchAbout The TeamQuest Diagnostics honors our service members and encourages veterans to apply.While we appreciate and value our staffing partners, we do not accept unsolicited resumes from agencies.
