Senior Corporate Counsel

Our client is a leading global biotechnology company with operations spanning research services, biologics development, cell and gene therapy, and advanced life sciences technologies. The Senior Corporate Counsel will serve as a key legal partner to senior leadership across the organization. Reporting directly to the US Head of Legal, this individual will support a broad range of commercial, corporate, litigation, and strategic business matters while helping scale the legal function alongside a growing global business. ResponsibilitiesLead the review, negotiation, and management of a wide range of commercial agreements while advising business stakeholders on transactional and operational matters. Manage litigation matters, internal investigations, employment-related disputes, and outside counsel relationships. Partner closely with cross-functional teams across the U.S. and internationally to provide practical, risk-based legal advice.Contribute to the development and expansion of the legal department, including the potential to oversee junior legal professionals as the team growsQualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law school5+ years of legal experience gained through a combination of law firm and in-house roles.Strong commercial contracting experience with the ability to independently support sophisticated business transactions and due diligence initiativesPrior experience supporting biotechnology, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or related industries required *Relocation assistance will be provided*
