The organization values technical excellence, safety, and continuous improvement in all service offerings.Role Description The Senior Corrosion Tech is a full-time, on-site position based in Sharjah, focused on the installation, testing, and maintenance of cathodic protection and corrosion control systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting field inspections, collecting and analyzing corrosion and CP data, performing system surveys, and preparing technical reports and documentation. The role involves supervising or guiding junior technicians, coordinating with engineering and project teams, and ensuring that maintenance and repair activities meet industry standards and company procedures. The Senior Corrosion Tech will diagnose system issues, recommend corrective actions, and implement preventive maintenance programs to optimize asset integrity. This position also requires adherence to safety protocols, participation in toolbox talks, and support of client site visits and audits.Qualifications Strong maintenance capabilities, including Maintenance, Maintenance & Repair, and Preventive Maintenance skills.Hands-on technical expertise in Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting for cathodic protection and corrosion control systems.Experience with field surveys, CP testing (e.g., potential measurements, current measurements), and interpretation of corrosion data.Knowledge of relevant industry standards and practices (such as NACE/AMPP guidelines) and asset integrity principles.Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.Solid written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports and interact professionally with clients and colleagues.Demonstrated ability to work safely in industrial environments and to lead or mentor technical staff on-site.Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering, corrosion technology, or a related field; professional certifications in corrosion or cathodic protection are an advantage.Prior experience in oil and energy or similar heavy industrial sectors, preferably in a senior or lead technician role.
