Senior Cost Controller

My client is a leading international contractor currently working on the construction of a major stadium for the upcoming FIFA world cup. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Cost Controller. The role will include the following;Develop and maintain project cost control systems, procedures, and reporting structures.Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets and identify cost variances.Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, cost-to-complete analyses, and financial performance indicators.Coordinate with planning, procurement, construction, and commercial teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.Analyze project productivity, resource utilization, and cost trends.Support contract administration by monitoring commitments, variations, claims, and subcontractor costs.Review and validate progress measurements and their impact on project financial performance.Provide management with timely forecasts of final project costs and potential risks or opportunities.Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and financial control procedures.Candidates should have a degree in engineering, quantity surveying or similar but must have at least 10 years experience working as a cost estimator working on complex building, civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
