This role involves evaluating and managing dealer credit risk, supporting accounts receivable operations, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization committed to sound credit risk management and customer service excellence.What you will achieve in this role:Review and analyze dealer financial statements to assess creditworthinessEstablish, monitor, and adjust dealer credit limits and interest ratesIdentify high-risk accounts through financial analysis and payment trendsMonitor overdue balances and escalate potential credit risks proactivelyRecommend bad debt reserves based on credit analysis and collectability assessmentsAdminister security filings such as PPSA registrations to protect company interestsApprove or hold customer orders based on credit exposure and payment historyProcess daily cash receipts and ensure accurate application of paymentsInvestigate and resolve account discrepancies and collection issuesSupport month-end financial reporting and audit activitiesIdentify process improvement opportunities and ensure compliance with policiesWhat you will bring to this role:5+ years of experience in commercial credit, accounts receivable, or collectionsPost-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplineProgress toward or completion of a professional accounting designation (CPA considered an asset)Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and credit principlesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systemsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities independentlyEffective verbal and written communication skillsBilingual in English and French is an assetExperience working with corporate B2B accounts preferredIndustry experience in distribution, powersports, or related sectors is a plusAdditional Qualifications:Experience analyzing corporate financial statementsKnowledge of accounts receivable and collection processesWe thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for further consideration will be contacted.AI Disclosure: Artificial Intelligence may be used as part of our application review process to assist in reviewing, screening and assessment of applicants.
