Pertemps are delighted to be exclusively supporting a growing business in East Kilbride with the recruitment of a Senior Credit Controller/AR Specialist to join their team.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced credit professional who enjoys working in a busy environment and has a strong background in statement reconciliations.The RoleIn this role you will be responsible for managing customer accounts and supporting the business in maintaining an accurate and efficient credit control function. You’ll play an important role in ensuring outstanding balances are monitored and resolved promptly.Key responsibilities include:Managing a portfolio of customer accountsCarrying out regular statement reconciliationsInvestigating and resolving account discrepanciesMonitoring outstanding invoices and overdue paymentsAllocating and reconciling paymentsLiaising with customers regarding outstanding balances and queriesMaintaining accurate account recordsWorking closely with internal teams to resolve payment and account issuesSupporting the wider finance team as requiredAbout YouWe’re looking for someone with previous experience in a Credit Control or Accounts Receivable position who is confident working with customer accounts and reconciliations.You'll ideally have:Strong experience in statement reconciliationsPrevious credit control/accounts receivable experienceExcellent attention to detailStrong numerical and organisational skillsGood communication and relationship-building skillsThe ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve issues effectivelyA proactive approach and the ability to work independentlyWhat's on offer?Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per annum
