Senior Credit Controller | Redhill, Surrey (Hybrid) | £35,000 + up to £4,200 bonus + benefitsI'm working with a well established B2B business in Redhill to find a Senior Credit Controller for their finance operations team. It's a permanent role with real ownership, a bonus that pays out, and a team that wants someone who'll take their ledger and make it better.The roleYou'll own a ledger of around 1,000 accounts and look after all of the key accounts. The work is built on relationships. The business works through a dealer network, so you'll be managing a three way relationship between the business, the dealer and the end customer. Good communication matters more here than in most credit control roles.Day to day, you'll be:Managing a ledger of circa 1,000 accounts plus the key account portfolioHandling monthly and consolidated invoicing for key accountsMaking outbound calls (around 30 a day), with preemptive calls in the last week of the month to land cash before month endWorking with the Customer Service Manager to resolve balances and disputes on no credit (card payment) accountsHelping the team hit its monthly cash collection and 90+ day targetsTraining new team members and supporting colleagues when things get busyCovering for the Credit Manager when neededYou'll report into the Credit Manager and sit within a credit control team of five, part of a wider finance operations function of eleven. This isn't a people management role, but you'll be a senior voice in the team and someone others look to.What they're looking forAt least 5 years in credit controlHigh volume experience, ideally with B2B customersA proven track record of hitting collection targetsStrong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPsA calm, confident manner on the phone, even when chasing difficult debtsGreat attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a busy dayPersonality counts as much as the CV. Credit control rewards consistency, and this team values people who show up and deliver month after month.The package£35,000 basic salaryMonthly bonus of up to £350 (£4,200 a year), split between cash collection and 90+ day targets. You'll be in the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and work from home Monday and Friday.Please think about the commute before you apply.
