Senior Credit Controller - Shipping London (Hybrid) £55,000 to £65,000Inico Recruit is working with an internationally recognised London firm serving the shipping industry to appoint a Senior Credit Controller.This is a senior, hands-on credit control position with real ownership. You'll manage a portfolio of international clients, working closely with fee earners and the finance team to keep cash flowing and protect client relationships.Key responsibilitiesOwn the sales ledger and drive collection of overdue balances by phone and emailManage a portfolio of key international accounts, including SPV owning entities, P&I Clubs and insurersCarry out cash allocation and account reconciliationsProduce aged debt reports, cash forecasts and billing updates for senior managementRecommend bad debt provisions and write-offs where appropriateAbout youExperience in shipping, or a strong working understanding of the sector (for example ship management, shipbroking, marine insurance, P&I, or a firm serving shipping clients)Confident dealing with international debtors and multi-currency accountsStrong communication skills, with the confidence to speak directly with clients and internal stakeholdersWhat's on offerSalary of £55K - £65K, depending on experienceHybrid working, based in LondonA senior role with genuine ownership within a specialist, well-regarded firm
