Location: Leicestershire | HybridSalary: Competitive + BenefitsSF Recruitment is working with an established and successful business to recruit a Senior Credit Risk Analyst into their Finance team.This is a great opportunity for an experienced Credit Risk professional who enjoys getting into the detail of financials, assessing higher-value exposures and providing commercially balanced recommendations.Working closely with the Head of Credit, you’ll be responsible for:Reviewing financial statements, management accounts and wider financial informationAssessing creditworthiness and identifying potential financial or trading risksManaging a portfolio of higher-value credit exposuresMaking recommendations around credit limits and riskSupporting annual and ad-hoc credit reviewsProducing monthly credit risk reporting and MIIdentifying trends, emerging risks and areas requiring actionEngaging directly with customers/members and their Finance teamsSupporting improvements across credit processes, controls and reportingWe’re looking for someone with:Strong Credit Risk, Credit Control or wider financial risk experienceConfidence analysing financial statements and management accountsStrong commercial judgement and analytical skillsAdvanced Excel and confidence working with financial dataThe ability to communicate and influence senior stakeholdersA proactive, organised and hands-on approachA CICM qualification would be advantageous but isn’t essential where there is strong relevant experience.This would suit someone looking for a more analytical, commercially focused Credit Risk position with genuine ownership and exposure to senior stakeholders.
