🚨 Senior Cybersecurity Engineer | Dubai or Limassol, CyprusI’m hiring for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join a growing fintech/payment platform.This role is open to candidates already based in Dubai, UAE or Limassol, Cyprus.This is a hands-on Security Engineering role, not a traditional SOC Analyst position. The client is looking for someone with a broad background across IT Operations and Security Operations, who can own security tools, infrastructure security, incidents and technical controls.You’ll be supporting a PCI DSS environment and helping protect payment platforms across endpoint, email, network, cloud and web-facing systems.What we’re looking for:✅ Currently based in Dubai or Limassol✅ Comfortable working onsite✅ Fluent English communication skills✅ 7+ years’ hands-on cybersecurity / security engineering experience✅ Broader experience across IT Operations and Security Operations✅ Hands-on infrastructure/security engineering experience, not just alert monitoring✅ Strong incident response experience from triage through to post-incident review✅ Experience owning/administering tools such as SIEM/XDR, EDR, email security, DLP, SASE/VPN, WAF, DDoS and API security✅ Experience with MDR / managed SOC providers, including escalations and SLAs✅ Knowledge of PCI DSS, DORA, ISO 27001, NIST or CIS BenchmarksNice to have:🔹 Active certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, Security+, Check Point, Palo Alto or Fortinet🔹 Payment gateway, fintech or PCI DSS Level 1 experience🔹 Cloudflare, Check Point Harmony or similar platform experience🔹 Experience using AI tools to support day-to-day security workPlease only apply if your background is broader than SOC monitoring and you have hands-on experience across security tooling, infrastructure, incidents and technical controls.Feel free to get in touch or share with someone in your network who could be a strong fit.
