Senior Cybersecurity AnalystSalary: $130k-$140kLocation: Chicago, IL or Austin, TXHybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote*We are unable to provide sponsorship for this role*QualificationsBachelor’s degree6+ years of related experienceCompTIA Security+, GIAC Information Security Fundamentals or Security Essentials Certification, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, SentinelOne)Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms (e.g., Sentinel, Splunk, LogRhythm, Exabeam, Google SecOps) including event analysis, log collection/management, alert generation, investigations, and reportingAzure cloud modules (e.g., Sentinel, Defender, Entra, Identity, Key Vault)Endpoint security technologies/agents (e.g., web proxy, DLP, CASB)Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platforms (preferred)Intrusion Prevention/Detection Systems (IPS/IDS), firewalls, content filtering, and vulnerability scanning/management solutions (preferred)ResponsibilitiesMonitor, triage, and respond to security alerts and incidents.Utilize threat intelligence feeds to stay informed about emerging threats.Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurationsDevelop and implement new detection rules.Maintain and configure security tools and technologies.Document and conform to processes related to security monitoring and incident response.Acts as subject matter expert for security incident responses.Enhance department and organization reputation by delivering quality results and exploring opportunities to increase value and raise awareness of Information Security Program
