Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

If you enjoy solving complex security challenges, staying ahead of emerging threats, and turning cybersecurity practices into meaningful business protection, we’d love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesEstablish, implement and continuously improve ViTrox’s cybersecurity programme across IT assets and environments.Manage enterprise security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, security audits and risk assessments to identify and address security gaps.Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, including root cause analysis, remediation and incident reporting.Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) and work with IT teams to embed security practices throughout the system development lifecycle.Drive cybersecurity awareness and stay ahead of emerging threats, technologies and industry best practices.Key QualificationsBackground in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology or equivalent.3–5 years of relevant experience in a security-focused IT role, with hands-on experience in enterprise security solutions.Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, network security, vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.Familiarity with Linux/Windows hardening and cloud security (AWS, Azure or GCP).Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+ or CEH will be an added advantage.Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with high integrity and the ability to work independently.Ready to strengthen the digital future with us?Join ViTrox and be part of the team that keeps innovation secure.
