They are investing in their data and BI capabilities and are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to help build a trusted, scalable reporting environment.The RoleWe’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to take ownership of the development and continuous improvement of Power BI reporting across the business. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and business teams to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights, while helping establish consistent data models, KPIs, and reporting standards.This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working across the full analytics lifecycle — from sourcing and modelling data through to building dashboards, developing advanced DAX and Power Query logic, and presenting insights to decision-makers.Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain high-quality Power BI dashboards across multiple areas of the business.Own the end-to-end reporting process, from understanding business requirements through to data modelling, development, testing, and deployment.Develop robust and reusable semantic data models using strong data modelling principles.Use Power Query and DAX to transform data and create advanced business metrics and reporting logic.Write SQL queries to source, analyse, and combine data from multiple systems.Define and standardise KPIs with business stakeholders to create a consistent view of performance.Replace fragmented spreadsheets and legacy reporting with scalable, self-service BI solutions.Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and areas for business improvement.Implement appropriate reporting permissions and data access controls.Work with stakeholders to improve data quality, reporting adoption, and self-service analytics.Provide guidance, documentation, and training to help business users get greater value from data.About You:4+ years’ experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a similar role.Strong hands-on experience building Power BI dashboards end-to-end.Advanced Power Query and DAX skills, including complex transformations and custom measures.Strong understanding of data modelling, including relationships, hierarchies, and star schema.Solid SQL skills with experience working across multiple data sources.Proven ability to translate business questions into effective data and reporting solutions.Experience working with senior stakeholders and non-technical business users.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data quality and accuracy.Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex data clearly.Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced environment.Nice to Have:Power BI certification.Experience with Microsoft data and automation tools.Experience implementing data governance, security, and GDPR-compliant reporting.Exposure to broader data engineering or cloud data environments.Experience developing self-service analytics capabilities.Why Join?This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation where data is becoming a key driver of business performance.
