As part of its sustained growth, Gaming1 is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join its Lab team.The Lab drives two kinds of innovation that feed each other.On one side, a Transversal team reads signals across every player journey to catch cross-area patterns, builds the sharedmethodologies and tools the whole Lab relies on, and pushes AI-driven experimentation company-wide.On the other side, each Data Analyst is a named data partner for an area/journey; You become the owner and expert of your player journey: a driver of the journey, not just a do-er. Your work is anchored to the journey rather than ad-hoc requests, givingyou real depth, real continuity and a genuine seat alongside the Head Of, PM, Data Engineers and Data Scientists of your Area. You anticipate what's coming before it's asked for, spot the friction and opportunities that aren't on the roadmap yet.YOUR ROLEProactively detecting emerging trends, value opportunities, or organizational "blind spots" that have not yet beenformalized.Analysing complex, ambiguous issues to objectify debates with facts and accelerate high-impact decision-making.Seek to understand the actual friction behind every player’s behaviour and its root causes — going beyond simplydelivering a report.Conducting targeted explorations and Proof of Concepts (including AI) to test hypotheses and qualify the potential ofnew approaches before industrialization.Designing visual, convincing deliverables (insight notes, Power BI dashboards, analytical frameworks) that are directlyexploitable by decision-makers.Collaborating with Head Of, PM, Data Engineers & Data Scientists of your Area; build that relationship and own thatcommunicationYOUR MINDSETWe are looking for a professional who has moved beyond following instructions to taking initiative and for explorers wholove to make data "talk" to challenge the status quo.You enjoy formulating hypotheses, confronting them with reality, and accepting when facts contradict your initialassumptions.You are not wedded to a routine; you adapt your level of formalism and your tools to the urgency and impact of thesubject.You don’t just deliver a report; you seek to understand the actual friction behind every player’s behaviour and its rootcauses.You know how to step away from the daily flow to conduct long-term research that will structure the company's future.You are comfortable making dysfunctions visible and challenging existing solutions.You thrive in a team environment and interact daily with various departments to refine your understanding of thebusiness realityYOUR PROFILETypically, 6+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence or a related analytical role, with demonstratedownership of analytical products and the ability to lead analytical directions while remaining hands-onAdvanced SQL skills and experience building maintainable, production-grade queries, semantic models and dataproductsStrong data visualization tool expertise, including semantic model design, DAX, dataflows, and report governance (e.g.Power BI, Tableau, etc.)Solid data modelling practices, including star schema, documentation, data quality standards with a focus onreproducible and scalable workWorking knowledge of cloud data platformsPython proficiency for analytical work beyond SQL: statistical analysis, cohort modelling, data wrangling, exploratoryautomation and lightweight prototypingExperience analysing player or customer behavioural data — funnels, retention, journey mapping, segmentationProfessional proficiency in EnglishA degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline, or equivalentpractical experienceInterested in learning more?Koda Staff is managing this search exclusively on behalf of GAMING1.If the role aligns with your experience, or you'd like to explore fit and scope in more detail, applications and confidential conversations are welcome.
