Senior Data Analyst - SQL, BI Reporting & SAP BW

Analyze business and operational data using SQL to identify trends, patterns, discrepancies and insightsDevelop and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, or similar BI/reporting toolsGather reporting requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into meaningful dashboards and analytical reportsWork with SAP BW to understand data structures, data flows, queries, InfoProviders and reporting layersExtract, validate and reconcile data from SAP BW and other data sourcesPerform data quality checks, validation and root-cause analysis for reporting/data issuesWrite complex SQL queries involving joins, aggregations, subqueries and data transformationsSupport existing reports and dashboards and enhance them based on changing business requirementsCollaborate with business users, SAP/BW teams, data engineers and technology teamsDocument data sources, reporting logic, business rules and report definitionsSupport UAT, report validation and production issue resolutionRequirements6+ years of experience as a Data Analyst / BI Analyst / Reporting AnalystStrong hands-on SQL experienceStrong experience with at least one BI/reporting tool:TableauPower BIQlik / Qlik Senseor similar reporting toolsGood understanding of SAP BW and its reporting/data warehouse environmentExperience in data analysis, reporting and dashboard developmentStrong understanding of data validation, reconciliation and data qualityAbility to gather requirements and communicate effectively with business stakeholdersStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsSAP BW KnowledgeCandidates should understand concepts such as:SAP BW architecture and data flowInfoProviders / ADSOs / InfoCubesBW Queries and reportingData extraction and transformation conceptsData validation and reconciliationIntegration of SAP BW data with reporting/BI tools
