Senior Data Analytics Engineer London / WFH to £95kAre you a Senior Data Analytics Engineer who combines strong technical skills with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders?You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at a well established consumer facing financial services company that help people to manage debt, as they go through a technical transformation and scale-up following recent investment.As a Senior Data Analytics Engineer you'll join a growing Data Team where you'll take ownership of analytics initiatives, help modernise the data platform and turn complex data into meaningful business insight.You'll work across analytics engineering, data modelling and data engineering, partnering with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable, high quality solutions. You'll also play a key role in the migration from Oracle to AWS and the development of a modern data platform.What you'll doDesign and build analytics solutions, data models and transformations using dbt CloudDevelop the business reporting layer, including testing, documentation and CI/CDBuild dashboards and self-service analytics using MetabaseUse advanced SQL and data modelling techniques to deliver robust data solutionsWork with Oracle / PL/SQL, including packages and stored procedures, supporting the migration to AWSContribute to data pipelines, integrations and modern data warehouse / data lake developmentWork closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutionsCollaborate with legacy data warehouse teams and support data migration and transformation initiativesManage priorities and delivery through JIRA / AgileIdentify opportunities to improve processes, automation and data qualityProvide technical leadership and hands-on support across analytics projects Location / WFH:You'll be based in fantastic new offices in London that offer a wide range of facilities including wellness rooms and onsite gym for three days a week with flexibility to work from home twice a week.About you:You have strong commercial experience as a Data Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer or similarYou have excellent SQL and data modelling skillsYou have strong hands-on experience with dbt Cloud, including modelling, testing, documentation and CI/CDYou have experience with Metabase or a similar BI / analytics platform.You have strong Oracle / PL/SQL experience, including a good understanding packages and stored proceduresYou have experience with AWS and modern data warehouse / data lake architecturesYou're a confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills - able to bridge the gap between business and technologyYou're comfortable taking ownership, managing competing priorities and driving projects through to deliveryWhat's in it for you:As a Senior Data Analytics Engineer you will receive a competitive package:Salary to £95kBonus25 days holidayPensionEmployee Assistance ProgrammeOnsite gym and well-being championsX2 volunteering days per yearOpportunity to make an impact as part of new team in a role you can shapeApply now to find out more about this Senior Data Analytics Engineer opportunity.
