قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجJob Title: Senior Data Center TechnicianJob SummaryThe Senior Data Center Technician is a hands-on, field-based role responsible for supporting and leading operations within an enterprise data center environment. This shift-based position requires expert knowledge of active and passive infrastructure, strong incident response skills, and close collaboration with enterprise IT, network, and facilities teams to ensure business-critical systems remain highly available.Key Responsibilities• Perform and lead daily data center operations during assigned shifts• Act as a technical escalation point for enterprise-critical incidents and outages• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot active infrastructure (enterprise servers, network switches/routers, storage, PDUs)• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot passive infrastructure (structured copper and fiber cabling, patch panels, racks, labeling)• Execute rack-and-stack, hardware refresh, lifecycle replacements, and decommissioning• Support facility systems including UPS, generators, cooling, and environmental monitoring• Monitor alarms and respond to incidents in accordance with enterprise SLAs and change processes• Coordinate closely with Enterprise IT, Network, Security, and Facilities teams• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, security policies, and audit requirements• Maintain detailed documentation, asset records, and shift handover reports• Mentor junior technicians and enforce operational best practicesRequired Skills & Qualifications• Significant experience in an data center or mission-critical environment• Expert-level knowledge of active and passive data center infrastructure• Advanced hands-on experience with fiber (SM/MM) and copper cabling, testing, and troubleshooting• Strong understanding of enterprise server, network, and storage platforms• Solid knowledge of power distribution, redundancy models (N+N), and cooling systems• Proven ability to manage incidents and perform root-cause troubleshooting• Experience working in a 24/7 shift-based operation• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skillsPreferred Qualifications• ITIL knowledge or experience in enterprise incident and change management• Experience with DCIM, CMDB, or enterprise monitoring tools
