Job Role: Senior Data EngineerLocation: Abu Dhabi, UAE (Onsite)Experience: 10+ YearsEngagement Type: ContractDuration: 1 Year (Extendable)Salary: AED 25,000 - 26,000 (All Inclusive) + Visa Sponsorship + Medical (Only for Candidate)Notice Period: Immediate Joiners to 15 Days PreferredAbout the RoleWe are hiring experienced Data Engineers to join a large-scale enterprise Data & AI transformation program based in Abu Dhabi, within the energy sector. This is a high-priority, onsite engagement supporting critical data acquisition, ingestion, and pipeline development initiatives for a major enterprise data platform build-out.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks (Delta Lake, Spark, Unity Catalog, notebooks, and workflows).Develop and manage Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines, including data ingestion and linked services configuration.Build and maintain data ingestion and integration workflows connecting to diverse source systems, including Oracle, flat files, and APIs.Design and implement ETL/ELT processes to support enterprise-scale data platforms.Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure reliable, high-quality data delivery across the platform.Troubleshoot and optimize pipeline performance in a production enterprise environment.Follow established data governance, security, and documentation standards.Mandatory Skills10+ years of overall experience in data engineering, with strong hands-on expertise in enterprise data platforms.Strong hands-on experience with Databricks — Delta Lake, Spark, Unity Catalog, notebooks, and workflows.Proven experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) — pipeline development, data ingestion, and linked services.Demonstrated experience in data ingestion and integration, connecting to source systems such as Oracle, flat files, and APIs.Strong grounding in ETL/ELT design principles for enterprise-scale data platforms.Good to HavePrior experience in energy, utilities, or other large regulated enterprise environments.Familiarity with data governance and cataloging practices using Unity Catalog.Exposure to CI/CD practices for data pipeline deployment.Working knowledge of Python and/or SQL for data engineering tasks.Experience working within large, multi-vendor program environments.Interested candidates are requested to share their resume at tarana.singh@namasys.ai
