Senior Data Engineer (English fluent)

Data Engineer Working Place: SmartOSC Hồ Chí Minh: Tầng 2, Cao ốc Tuổi Trẻ, 60A Hoàng Văn Thụ SmartOSC Đà Nẵng: Tòa ICT 1, Công viên công nghệ phần mềm số 2, lô A3, Đà Nẵng Key Deliverables & Responsibilities 1. Data Platform & Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines. Build and optimize batch and real-time data ingestion frameworks. Develop enterprise data lake and data warehouse solutions. Ensure high data quality, governance, reliability, and observability. Implement data modeling for analytics, reporting, and AI/ML use cases. Optimize performance and cost efficiency of cloud-based data platforms. 2. AI & Analytics Enablement: Prepare clean and reliable datasets for AI/ML initiatives. Collaborate with Data Scientists and AI Engineers for feature engineering. Enable customer analytics, personalization, demand forecasting, and operational optimization. 3. Governance & Security: Implement data governance, lineage, and access controls. Ensure compliance with security and privacy standards. Monitor and troubleshoot data quality and pipeline issues. 4. Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, QA, and business teams. Participate in solution design, estimation, and technical discussions. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers. Requirements Technical Skills Strong experience with SQL and data modeling. Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java. Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Apache Spark, Airflow, dbt, Kafka, NiFi, or Talend. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience with modern data stack technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, or Synapse. Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices. Understanding data governance and data quality frameworks. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or related field. 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, have experience in retail or telco domain is a plus. Experience with streaming and real-time architecture. Experience supporting AI/ML platforms. Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architecture. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
