The platform supports key activities such as Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR), and asset discovery.The Senior Data Privacy Analyst is a full-time role responsible for overseeing and enhancing PrivacyShield’s customers privacy compliance processes and frameworks. This hybrid position is based in the Pune, with flexibility for partial work from home. The role involves monitoring evolving global privacy regulations, assessing their impact on clients, and advising on appropriate controls and policy updates. Daily activities include conducting privacy impact assessments, analyzing privacy risks and issues, supporting DSAR workflows, and collaborating with product, legal, and security teams to embed privacy-by-design into solutions. The Senior Data Privacy Analyst will also develop and refine privacy policies, prepare compliance reports, provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders, and help drive continuous improvement in privacy practices.Qualifications Strong knowledge of privacy regulations and privacy compliance frameworks (e.g., DPDP, GDPR, CCPA, and other global data protection laws).Ability to develop, review, and maintain privacy policies aligned with regulatory and organizational requirements.Excellent analytical skills to assess privacy issues, interpret regulatory changes, and translate them into actionable requirements.Experience conducting Gaps Assessment, Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), managing DSAR processes, and supporting data mapping or asset discovery initiatives.Relevant experience in data privacy, information security, risk management, or compliance within technology-driven organizations.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex privacy concepts to diverse stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in law, information systems, computer science, management, or a related field; professional privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM) are preferred.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high ethical standards in handling sensitive data.
