Our team has delivered programs across India, the Middle East, and the US, with zero client churn since day one.Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Data Protection Consultant with a strong, hands-on background in privacy consulting or in-house data protection roles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping our clients navigate complex data protection regulations, assess privacy risks, and implement effective privacy programs. This is not an entry-level role, we're looking for someone who already operates independently in this space. This is an on-site role, based out of our Bangalore office / client sites.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) for clientsAdvise clients on compliance with major privacy regulations, including DPDPA, GDPR, and other applicable global frameworksDevelop and implement privacy policies, procedures, and training programsPerform gap analyses to identify and remediate privacy-related vulnerabilitiesCollaborate with cybersecurity and legal teams to integrate privacy-by-design principles into technology and business processesStay up-to-date with new and evolving privacy laws and industry standardsServe as a subject matter expert on privacy matters for both internal teams and clientsQualifications3-5 years of direct, hands-on experience in a privacy-focused role, this is not suitable for freshersStrong knowledge of global privacy laws and frameworks (e.g., DPDPA, GDPR, ISO 27701)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex privacy concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentRelevant certifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPT, CIPM) are highly desirableSelection ProcessShortlisted candidates will be given a 24-hour assignment as part of the evaluation before interviews.Work EnvironmentThis is a fully on-site role based in Bangalore, working closely with the team and directly at client locations as needed.
