Senior Data Scientist - AI & Machine Learning - FinTechI’m working with a well established FinTech that is investing heavily in Data Science, Machine Learning and Generative AI. They are looking for a technically strong Senior Data Scientist to join their growing team and work on a range of high-impact, real-world AI solutions.This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to own projects end-to-end - from identifying and framing problems through to developing, deploying and improving production-ready solutions.You’ll work across predictive modelling, machine learning, time-series forecasting and modern Generative AI, helping turn complex datasets and business challenges into practical technology solutions.You’ll be involved in:Developing and deploying machine learning and predictive modelsBuilding LLM-powered applications, AI agents and multi-step workflowsWorking with modern frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph or similarDeveloping scalable, production-grade Python solutionsWorking with large and complex datasets, including time-series dataTaking ownership of projects from problem definition through to productionCollaborating with engineers, analysts, product teams and senior stakeholdersExploring new developments across Generative AI, LLMs and agentic AIMentoring junior team members and helping raise technical standardsExperience3+ years’ experience in Data Science, Machine Learning or a related fieldExpert-level Python with strong experience across Pandas, NumPy, SciPy and Scikit-learnStrong machine learning and predictive modelling experienceHands-on experience with LLMs / Generative AIExperience building AI applications beyond basic chatbot interfacesStrong understanding of time-series modelling / forecastingExperience taking models or AI solutions into productionFamiliarity with Snowflake, AWS, GCP or equivalent cloud technologiesMSc or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Physics or another quantitative disciplineThis is a great opportunity for a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer or AI Engineer who wants to work with modern AI technologies while having genuine ownership and commercial impact.Interested?
