Senior Data Scientist

We are building an educational gaming system that adapts to each student's learning needs. The system analyzes gameplay data to identify academic, cognitive, and behavioral challenges, then personalizes the game experience to improve learning outcomes.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement diagnostic models using gameplay and performance data.Build scoring systems, weighted heuristics, and decision-making algorithms to identify student learning challenges.Develop personalization logic that selects the most effective interventions, questions, and gameplay adjustments for each student.Create and monitor success metrics to evaluate intervention effectiveness.Design and run A/B tests to measure impact and optimize system performance.Develop feedback loops and auto-tuning mechanisms that continuously improve diagnostic accuracy over time.Collaborate with product, game design, and learning experts to translate educational frameworks into scalable software systems.RequirementsStrong background in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Machine Learning, or related fields.Experience building recommendation, personalization, scoring, or decision-support systems.Strong Python and SQL skills.Experience with experimentation frameworks and A/B testing.Ability to convert business or domain rules into data-driven algorithms.Experience working with large-scale behavioral or user-performance datasets is a plus.Nice to HaveExperience in EdTech, Gaming, Behavioral Analytics, or Learning Systems.Familiarity with adaptive learning or recommendation engines.
