You'll join a highly collaborative environment where experimentation is encouraged and innovative modelling techniques are actively deployed into production!The Role Reporting into the Head of Pricing, you'll join a specialist team responsible for developing next-generation pricing models that challenge conventional approaches. Working across large and complex datasets, you'll build predictive machine learning models using alternative data sources to improve customer pricing and risk selection.Projects include:Building innovative predictive machine learning modelsDeveloping pricing and customer selection modelsExploring alternative data sources to improve pricing accuracyGeospatial and footprint modellingResidual and claims modellingWorking with messy, high-volume datasets to uncover commercial insightsDeploying models using Azure Machine LearningMentoring junior team members and helping shape best practice across the teamThis is an opportunity to influence products that impact millions of customers whilst working on genuinely novel modelling challenges.Your Skills & Experience Experience building machine learning modelsStrong Python skillsExperience developing predictive models within commercial environmentsExperience working with large, complex datasetsExperience with cloud-based ML platforms (Azure ML preferred)The ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholdersExperience mentoring or supporting more junior data scientists is advantageousExperience within insurance or financial services would be beneficial, although candidates from other highly analytical industries are also encouraged to apply.The Benefits £70,000–£80,000 salary£5,000 annual car allowanceBonusHow to Apply To register your interest in this opportunity, please send your CV via the application link
