Senior Data Scientist | HKD 70K - HKD 90K / mth

Our client is a leading Conglomerate with an experienced Data Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will own the entire machine learning lifecycle—from data extraction and model development all the way through to production deployment. If you have a strong quantitative background and a passion for MLOps, we want to hear from you!What You Will DoETL & Data Engineering: Design, build, and optimize robust ETL pipelines to extract, clean, and prepare large datasets for machine learning applications.Model Development: Research, develop, train, and validate predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.Model Deployment & MLOps: Take ownership of deploying your models into production. You will containerize applications, orchestrate deployments, and monitor model performance in real-time.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and data analysts to integrate AI/ML capabilities into our core products.What We Are Looking ForEducation: A Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, or a strictly related quantitative discipline.Core Data Science Experience: Proven track record working as a Data Scientist, with a deep understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data analysis.Data Wrangling: Solid hands-on experience with ETL processes, SQL, and data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, PySpark).Deployment Expertise: Strong familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.MLOps & Cloud: Hands-on experience with model lifecycle management tools like MLflow, as well as deploying models on major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
