Success in this role means consistently delivering high-quality analytical outputs while nurturing strong relationships with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.Drive Data & AI initiatives by supporting the development of comprehensive data strategies, operating models, and transformation roadmaps that align with organisational goals.Act as an Operational Data Steward by establishing and maintaining robust data governance practices, including setting data quality standards, defining retention policies, and ensuring regulatory compliance.Lead the implementation of enterprise-wide data frameworks encompassing information architecture, data quality management processes, issue resolution protocols, and governance structures.Analyse large-scale business datasets to uncover trends, generate insights, and identify opportunities for process optimisation or strategic improvement.Develop and deploy advanced AI/ML models tailored for business applications such as risk assessment, fraud detection, predictive analytics, and operational optimisation.Champion the adoption of BI analytics solutions like Power BI or Tableau to enhance reporting capabilities and empower teams with real-time decision-support tools.Establish clear data performance metrics, service level agreements (SLAs), and reporting frameworks to monitor ongoing data quality and operational effectiveness across departments.Partner with cross-functional teams to embed a culture of data-driven decision-making throughout the organisation by providing guidance and best practices.Promote data literacy by delivering training sessions or workshops aimed at strengthening overall organisational data capabilities.
