Senior Data Solutions Analyst | Financial Services

Are you passionate about solving complex data challenges within complex financial services environments?We are looking for a Senior Data Solutions Analyst to join a highly skilled technology environment where you will bridge the gap between business, data and technology. This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership from requirements through to implementation, testing and delivery while working on business-critical data solutions.About the roleThis is not a traditional Business Analyst position. We are looking for someone who enjoys getting involved in both analysis and execution, helping to improve business processes, data quality and technology solutions across complex financial data lifecycles.You will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and data specialists to deliver solutions that support portfolio, analytics and risk data capabilities.Your responsibilities will include:Analysing complex business and data requirements across Investment & Risk domainsMapping end-to-end data flows between applications and business processesPerforming data analysis, reconciliation, impact assessments and data quality improvementsTranslating business requirements into scalable data solutionsSupporting configuration, testing, validation and implementation activitiesCoordinating User Acceptance Testing and production releasesInvestigating production issues and performing root cause analysisSupporting Product Owners with backlog refinement and delivery planningDocumenting business processes, data flows and solution designsYou will work in a collaborative Agile environment with modern cloud-based data technologies while contributing directly to strategic data initiatives.Hybrid working arrangement with regular collaboration on-site in the Randstad area.About youTo be successful in this role, you should have:At least 5 years of experience within complex financial services environments, preferably in Asset Management, Financial Risk Management or Capital MarketsProven experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Investment Analyst, Risk Analyst or a similar delivery-focused roleMandatory domain knowledge of the Investment & Risk lifecycle, including portfolio management, trading, analytics and operational processesStrong understanding of investment and risk data structuresExperience with data mapping, reconciliation, lineage and data qualityStrong SQL skills and experience analysing complex datasetsExperience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably Snowflake and dbtUnderstanding of APIs, interfaces and data integration conceptsExperience working in Agile delivery teamsThe ability to move beyond requirements gathering into implementation, testing, validation and production supportExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience with platforms such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Charles River Development (CRD) or MSCI Barra is considered an advantage but is not required.About Levy GlobalLevy Global is a specialist consulting and recruitment partner supporting technology professionals across the UK, Europe and North America.
