SENIOR DATABASE GEOLOGIST

We are currently looking for talented candidate for the position of Senior Database Geologist to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate shall be responsible for managing and maintaining the Company’s exploration database, ensuring geological and exploration data is accurate, validated, secure, and compliant with Company standards. The role also provides reliable datasets to support geological interpretation, resource evaluation, exploration programs, and technical reporting.JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Administer and maintain the Company’s exploration databases and related database applications.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, integrity, security, and quality of exploration data.
• Validate, import, synchronize, and audit geological, drilling, sampling, survey, and laboratory data.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports, automated processes, and data management workflows.
• Establish and enforce data management standards, documentation, file structures, naming conventions, and quality controls.
• Provide reliable datasets and database support for geological interpretation, resource estimation, modelling, and technical reporting.
• Support integration with GIS, geological modelling software, laboratories, and other technical systems, including user training.
• Collaborate with geologists, GIS specialists, surveyors, laboratories, drilling contractors, and IT teams to improve efficiency, automation, and data management practices.
• Work closely with geologists, GIS specialists, surveyors, laboratories, drilling contractors, and IT personnel to ensure efficient data management.QUALIFICATION:
• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geological Engineering.
• 8+ years’ experience in mineral exploration, including significant experience in exploration database management.
• Strong understanding of drilling, sampling, geological logging, QA/QC procedures, and laboratory data management.
• Good knowledge in using Software GIS (Preferably ArcGIS and/or QGIS, IOGAS), Maxwell Datashed Database Software and Geological Modelling Software (Preferably Leapfrog Geo, Edge and Datamine) and MS Office.
