Its solutions span IoT, generative AI, robotics process automation, fraud detection, insurance claim automation, and cloud migration, providing flexible and scalable data infrastructure and expert guidance.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Databricks Data Scientist role based in Nepal. The Senior Databricks Data Scientist will design and implement advanced data science solutions on Databricks, including building scalable data pipelines, developing machine learning models, and optimizing data workflows. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into analytical tasks, performing exploratory data analysis, and creating dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings. The individual will be responsible for ensuring data quality, contributing to data architecture decisions, mentoring junior data scientists, and supporting product and solution teams in deploying models into production. The role also includes staying current with best practices in analytics, cloud technologies, and AI, and applying them to client projects and internal platforms.Qualifications Strong foundation in Data Science and Statistics, with experience applying statistical methods and machine learning techniques to real-world problems.Proficiency in Data Analytics and Data Analysis to translate business questions into analytical tasks and derive actionable insights from complex datasets.Experience with Data Visualization, including creating clear, effective dashboards and reports to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Hands-on expertise with Databricks, Apache Spark, and distributed data processing on cloud platforms (such as Azure, AWS, or GCP).Advanced skills in programming languages commonly used in data science (such as Python or Scala), including libraries for machine learning and data manipulation.Knowledge of data engineering concepts, including ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, and working with structured and unstructured data.Experience designing, training, validating, and deploying machine learning models into production environments, including monitoring and optimization.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering), or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, mentor junior team members, and communicate clearly in spoken and written English.
