Senior Demand Planning Specialist

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Demand Planning Specialist to join our Supply Chain DepartmentPosition: Senior Demand Planning SpecialistDepartment: Supply ChainLocation: Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaExperience: 2–5 yearsKey Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and improve demand forecasts at SKU, category, and brand levels.Analyze historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, and customer behavior to develop accurate demand plans.Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing overstock and stock-outs.Provide regular forecast accuracy reports and 12-month forecasts for key suppliers.Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to align demand assumptions.Participate in S&OP meetings and present forecast insights.Conduct root cause analysis for shortages, overstock, and forecast variances.Prepare dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.Support process optimization, automation, and simplification initiatives.Coordinate with Sales and suppliers regarding new item introductions and phase-out activities.Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.2–5 years of experience in Demand planning, preferably within the Medical, Pharmaceutical, or FMCG distribution sector.Good knowledge of planning frameworks and statistical forecasting methods, including Consensus Forecasting, WAPE/MAPEX, and BIAS.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI is an advantage.Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Oracle Fusion.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong cross-functional collaboration and attention to detail.Data-driven approach to decision-making.Key Skills:• Demand Planning & Forecasting• Statistical & Consensus Forecasting• Inventory Management & Optimization• Data Analysis & Data-Driven Decision Making• Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint• Power BI & ERP Systems (Oracle Fusion preferred)• S&OP & Cross-Functional Collaboration• Problem Solving & Attention to Detail
