With a broad range of general, restorative, cosmetic and emergency dentistry, you’ll have plenty of variety and the opportunity to put your experience to work.We’re looking for someone who is confident taking ownership, maintains high clinical standards and is happy to be a go-to person for the team.Job DescriptionYou’ll be an important part of the clinical team, combining strong chairside skills with the organisation and initiative needed to keep the day running smoothly.Your responsibilities will include:Providing confident chairside assistance across a broad range of proceduresPreparing surgeries and anticipating what clinicians need throughout treatmentKeeping appointments running efficiently and supporting clinical flowMaintaining high standards of sterilisation and infection controlManaging clinical stock, equipment and surgery organisationHelping patients feel comfortable throughout their treatmentTaking ownership of tasks and using your initiative when things get busyQualificationsWhat you’ll bring:Strong previous experience as a Dental AssistantCertificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is highly regardedConfidence assisting across a range of procedures and with different cliniciansStrong knowledge of sterilisation and infection controlThe ability to anticipate, prioritise and stay organised in a busy practiceA calm, capable approach when the day doesn’t go to planConfidence to share your knowledge and support less experienced team membersA genuine pride in your work and the standards you bring to the practiceAdditional InformationWhy 1300SMILES Gladstone?At 1300SMILES Gladstone, you’ll be part of an established local practice with a varied clinical mix, experienced clinicians and a busy day-to-day environment.
