Great opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to work for a global manufacturing technology leader located in Phoenix, AZOur client is a high-tech facilities manufacturer looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to be responsible for leading the design, development, prototype fabrication, and verification testing of our products.ResponsibilitiesCreation and editing of models and assembliesDevelopment of detail drawings, bills of material, specificationsUpdate existing production designs and drawingsEstablish test plans to validate new/modified designs or benchmark existing designsPrepare engineering changes, process documentation, and reportsInterface with sales, product management, manufacturing, outside suppliers, and end usersAnalyze customer requirements and test results and propose solutionsResearch alternative methods, components, designs, processes, or materialsRespond to internal or external technical problems and pursue to resolutionProduce documentation in the form of bulletins and manualsGenerate novel and practical solutions to a variety of problemsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplineAbility to design with SolidWorksExperience with GD&T
