Client OverviewOur client is hiring for growth purposes, following their continued good work as a reputable design and manufacturing organisation. The role of Senior Design Engineer is a crucial part of the engineering function; this opening has a fair amount of scope due to their being several areas within the business that could benefit from an experienced Design Engineer joining the team.Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for both conceptual and bespoke re-designsCompiling parts lists and maintaining drawing records, following technical office proceduresHandling several projects simultaneously and supporting the design function on larger group projectsOccasional site visits with customers both new and old across the UK and overseasLiaising with suppliersSkill RequiredMechanical Engineering Degree (BEng or Meng)Full product life cycle design experience (ideally over 7 years in industry)Industry experience within machinery design (conveyors, bearing, mechanisms etc)Full UK Manual or Automatic LicenceCompensation & Other BenefitsSalary £50,000 to £60,000 per annum + BenefitsPrivate Healthcare, Life Assurance and moreIn-House Training and opportunity to develop professionallyFlexible working arrangements availablePlease note that our clients are unable to offer sponsorship for employment visas.
