Senior Designer - Kid's Outerwear

Leading Apparel manufacturer is seeking a Senior Designer to lead the creative development and execution of seasonal Kids outerwear across multiple brands.What You’ll DoLead the design and development of Kids outerwear collectionsCreate seasonal concepts, color palettes, print stories, graphics, and silhouette strategiesConduct domestic and international market shopping and trend researchPresent product concepts and seasonal assortments to retail partners and senior leadershipDevelop CADs, technical sketches, artwork packages, and product specificationsPartner closely with Technical Design, Sourcing, and Production throughout developmentParticipate in fit sessions and sample reviewsMentor junior designers and contribute to the creative direction of the departmentCollaborate on costing initiatives to balance design vision with margin objectivesSupport licensed and private-label businesses across multiple distribution channelsWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field5–8+ years of apparel design experience, ideally within children’s apparel and outerwearStrong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims, graphics, and print developmentExperience presenting directly to retailers and/or licensors preferredLicensed brand experience preferredProficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, PLM systems, and Microsoft OfficeExcellent organizational, project management, presentation, and communication skills
