Senior Desktop Architect

Deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all desktop equipment, including OS, patchesand applications; create a seamless user experience with workplace technology.•Design, build, and maintain desktop images and solutions across platforms, supportingbusiness requirements and future scale; maintain applications, system configurations, andsecurity policies (patches, anti-virus, encryption); improve the enterprise endpointreference architecture.•Resolve tier-3 support incidents and train Desktop technicians; document, maintain andimprove standard desktop-management processes.•Excellent customer-service skills; work with all teams to uphold standards of excellenceand promote teamwork.Areas of Focus: Customer Service; Problem-Solving; Hardware and Application Support; Software Upgrades; Documentation; Asset write-off and registration.•Proven work experience (25+ years) as a Senior Support Engineer / Technical SupportEngineer or similar role, with ITIL V3 qualification.•Hands-on experience with Windows / Linux / macOS environments and Office 365.•Strong troubleshooting, prioritization, multitasking and process-improvement skills;knowledge of call-tracking and asset-registration applications.•Master’s University Degree; friendly presence and helpful attitude.
