Senior Development Manager – High-Rise Developments

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Development Manager for one of our prestigious real estate development clients in Saudi Arabia. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead complex, high-rise and mixed-use developments, driving projects from design development through construction readiness and delivery transition.The successful candidate will play a key role in aligning design excellence, technical coordination, commercial objectives, project budgets, and delivery timelines across major real estate developments.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelopment & Project LeadershipLead high-rise and mixed-use development projects across key development stages.Establish project execution strategies, development plans, milestones, and performance objectives.Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across design, engineering, commercial, procurement, and project delivery functions.Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with approved business objectives.Design & Technical CoordinationOversee the integration of complex high-rise design elements, including structural systems, façades, MEP, vertical transportation, fire and life safety, parking, and access.Lead coordination with architects, engineering consultants, contractors, and specialist advisors.Ensure design quality, technical integration, and alignment with project requirements.Commercial, Cost & Risk ManagementSupport project budgeting, cost planning, and Total Development Cost (TDC) management.Monitor project schedules, development costs, and key project risks.Develop mitigation strategies for cost, schedule, authority approvals, and delivery challenges.Provide timely project updates, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior management.Construction Readiness & DeliverySupport tender preparation, procurement activities, and contractor onboarding.Lead construction readiness reviews and coordinate resolution of technical and project interface issues.Support project governance, stage-gate approvals, and executive reporting.Facilitate a smooth transition from development and design into construction and delivery.Candidate RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Real Estate, or a related discipline.12–15 years of relevant experience in high-rise, mixed-use, or large-scale real estate developments.Proven track record in development management and multidisciplinary design coordination.Strong understanding of high-rise building systems, design integration, construction processes, and project controls.Experience working with consultants, contractors, regulatory authorities, and senior stakeholders.Strong commercial acumen with expertise in cost, schedule, and risk management.Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced development environment.PMP, MRICS, RICS, PE, or equivalent professional certification is an advantage.
