Senior DevOps Engineer

Title: Senior DevOps Engineer | Sovereign AILocation: Abu Dhabi, UAEAbout the role:We are hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer for one of the leading players in Sovereign AI, a UAE-based company with frontier-model access and agentic AI products live across critical sectors at unprecedented scale.You'll own the infrastructure and deployment pipelines that keep AI systems running in production, across both cloud and on-premise environments where reliability and security are non-negotiable.What you'll own:Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and build scalable infrastructure for AI model deployment and lifecycle managementAutomate provisioning with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation, optimising both cloud and on-premise resources for scale and costManage queuing systems and real-time streaming architectures for AI and data workloadsOwn production reliability: monitoring, logging, alerting, root cause analysis, and post-mortems, with monitoring across both system metrics and ML model performanceEnsure infrastructure meets security and compliance standards (SOC2, ISO27001), managing secrets with Vault or AWS Secrets ManagerParticipate in a rotating on-call schedule for production supportWhat we're looking for:5+ years in DevOps, platform, or infrastructure engineeringStrong Kubernetes and Docker, with hands-on cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go, and CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)Observability depth with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog, plus solid networking fundamentalsExperience in high-traffic production environmentsNice to have:Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or Pulumi, service mesh (Istio, Linkerd), vector and SQL/NoSQL database administrationThe setup:Based in Abu Dhabi, contract-basedOnboarding ASAPWorld-class environmentInterested?
