Senior DevOps Engineer

Project Description:We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong application expertise to manage and optimize Azure and AWS-based application environments. This offshore role requires a professional who can bridge the gap between development and operations while ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of cloud-based applications.

Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage application environments on Azure and AWS platformsCI/CD Pipeline Development: Build and maintain robust continuous integration and deployment pipelinesApplication Monitoring: Implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems for application performance and healthInfrastructure as Code: Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormationContainer Orchestration: Manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologiesSecurity Implementation: Ensure security best practices across all application environmentsTroubleshooting: Provide L2/L3 support for application and infrastructure issuesDocumentation: Maintain technical documentation for processes, procedures, and system architecturesCollaboration: Work closely with development teams to optimize application deployment and performanceMandatory Skills Description:Experience: 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in DevOps and cloud technologiesCloud Platforms: Proficiency in both Azure and AWS services (VMs, App Services, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.)Scripting Languages: Strong skills in Bash, Python, or similarCI/CD Tools: Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or similar platformsConfiguration Management: Knowledge of Ansible, Puppet, or ChefMonitoring Tools: Experience with Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Grafana, or similarVersion Control: Proficiency with Git and branching strategiesCertifications: Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent certifications (preferred)Microservices: Experience with microservices architecture and API management (preferred)Database Knowledge: Understanding of cloud database services (Azure SQL, RDS, CosmosDB) (preferred)Networking: Knowledge of cloud networking concepts (VPNets, VPCs, load balancers) (preferred)Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (preferred)Skills and CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently in an offshore modelStrong attention to detail and qualityAdaptability to new technologies and toolsCustomer service orientation
