We help global brands, retailers and financial institutions build, scale and run their digital platforms, from eCommerce and mobile apps to cloud and banking solutions.About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong English communication skills to join our HCM team. You will work directly with international clients and cross-functional teams to design, automate and operate reliable, secure and scalable infrastructure for enterprise-grade digital products.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test and deployment processesProvision and manage cloud and/or on-premise infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation…)Deploy, operate and optimize containerized applications on Docker and KubernetesSet up and maintain monitoring, logging and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, CloudWatch…) to ensure system availability and performanceImplement security best practices: access control, secrets management, vulnerability scanning and compliance requirementsTroubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, and perform root cause analysisCollaborate with developers, QA and project managers to improve release processes and system reliabilityCommunicate directly with clients in English: clarify technical requirements, report status and propose solutionsWrite and maintain technical documentation (architecture, runbooks, operating procedures)RequirementsMust-have3+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE or System Engineer roleHands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP)Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environmentsProficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOpsExperience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible or equivalent)Strong Linux administration skills and scripting ability (Bash, Python or similar)Good understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, VPN, firewall, TCP/IP)Good English communication skills (speaking and writing), with the ability to work directly with international clients and team membersNice-to-haveCloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer, CKA/CKAD, Azure Administrator…)Experience with on-premise infrastructure or hybrid cloud environmentsKnowledge of GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux) and service mesh (Istio)Experience in banking, fintech, or eCommerce projects with high security and availability requirementsFamiliarity with DevSecOps practices and tools (SonarQube, Trivy, Vault)What We OfferCompetitive salary based on experience, with an annual performance reviewPerformance bonus up to 2-months salaryOpportunity to work on large-scale projects with global clientsFull social, health and unemployment insurance per Vietnamese Labour Law, plus premium healthcare insuranceSponsorship for professional certifications and training programsYoung, dynamic and international working environmentTeam building, company trips and regular engagement activitiesWorking hours: Monday to FridayHow to ApplySend your CV (in English) to phuongntn@smartosc.com with the subject line: [Senior DevOps Engineer – HCM] – Full Name
