Our products serve both external customers and internal teams, supporting use cases in security (SIEM), observability and compliance. These are critical 24/7 services: we build our own tooling, configure and extend open-source components, and run everything we ship ourselves.We're looking for an engineer who combines software development with real operational ownership, and who enjoys building better products together as a team. You write code, you deploy it, you run it, and you fix it at scale.What you'll do- Build and maintain high-performance data pipelines and services, primarily in Rust (some Scala)- Configure, extend and operate our log and metrics tooling as a service for our customers- Own the full lifecycle: design, build, deploy, operate, improve- Handle the operational side: reliability, incident response, automation, continuous improvement- Use Grafana as our single pane of glass for monitoring our own platformRequirementsMust-haves - Strong software engineering skills, preferably Rust and/or Scala- Genuine affinity with operations: candidates who only want to write code are not a fit- Team player who actively collaborates and wants to improve the product together- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps ways of working- Fluent, professional-level English; Dutch strongly preferred- Proactive, ownership-driven mindset: this weighs as heavily as technical skillsNice to have- Grafana LGTM stack (Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir), Logstash- Kafka and streaming data architectures- Kubernetes- Certificate management (TLS/mTLS) for proxies- Networking fundamentals (DNS, routing, firewalls)
