Apply & track with Apply EdgeHays is partnering with one of the leading banking groups in the MENAT region to hire a Senior Director - Sustainable Finance (Wholesale Banking) for their Dubai office.Role Overview:The Senior Director - Sustainable Finance will play a critical leadership role in driving the origination, structuring and execution of sustainable and transition finance solutions across Wholesale Banking, covering Corporate Banking, Investment Banking and Financial Institutions. The role supports clients in financing their energy transition and decarbonisation strategies, owns the go-to-market approach for sustainable finance, and contributes to the bank’s sustainable finance targets and climate commitments.Key responsibilities:Originating and structuring green loans, sustainability-linked loans, green bonds, sustainability bonds and transition finance instruments.Advising clients on sustainability strategies and frameworks aligned with ICMA and LMA principlesActing as the point of contact for Relationship Managers on sustainable finance and ESG enquiriesWorking with product teams on new sustainable solutionsMonitoring global regulatory developments including ISSB, EU CSRD and EU Taxonomy.
Requirements
