Senior Director

Role Description The Senior Director role is a part-time hybrid position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. The Senior Director will provide strategic leadership for educational programs, ensuring alignment with Ambion’s mission and quality standards. This role includes overseeing regional initiatives, guiding school leadership teams, and fostering collaboration across schools. The Senior Director will monitor performance indicators, lead improvement projects, and support innovation in teaching and learning. The position also involves stakeholder engagement with families, communities, and partners, as well as contributing to organizational planning, budgeting, and reporting.QualificationsDemonstrated leadership experience in education or a related sector, including strategic planning and oversight of multiple teams or sites.Strong background in curriculum development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of teaching and learning practices.Proven ability to build partnerships, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and represent the organization in external forums.Experience managing budgets, resources, and organizational change in a complex or multi-school environment.Advanced problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills, with the ability to use data to guide policy and practice.Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Management, or a closely related field; equivalent experience may be considered.Fluency in English; familiarity with European education systems or Dutch context is an advantage.Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices and the creation of safe, supportive learning environments for all learners and staff.
