Technology is looking for an experienced Senior Director / Director – Murex Practice & Technology, APAC to build and lead our Murex Professional Services capability from Singapore.About the RoleThis is a senior leadership position requiring deep end-to-end Murex technical expertise combined with practice building, solution architecture, delivery leadership, client engagement and partnership development.The successful candidate will act as PERSOL's Murex Technical Authority for APAC, build a strong Murex engineering and consulting capability, develop strategic relationships within the Murex ecosystem, and lead the delivery of Murex services to banks and financial institutions across the region.ResponsibilitiesBuild, lead and scale PERSOL's Murex Practice across Singapore and APAC, covering strategy, capability development, solutioning and delivery.Act as the senior technical authority for Murex, providing architecture and engineering leadership across complex banking engagements.Own the complete Murex technical landscape including MX.3 architecture, MXML, interfaces, integrations, Datamart, environments, batch processing, workflows, databases, Unix/Linux, scripting, APIs, middleware, CI/CD, DevOps and production architecture.Lead technical architecture and solution design for new Murex implementations, upgrades, migrations, transformation programs, integrations and platform modernisation.Provide technical leadership across Murex capabilities supporting Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Market Risk, Credit Risk, MLC, Collateral, Accounting, Settlement, Payments and Regulatory Reporting.Define architecture standards, engineering practices, development methodologies, technical governance and reusable Murex frameworks.Build and lead teams of Murex Architects, Technical Consultants, MXML Developers, Integration Specialists, Datamart Specialists, DevOps Engineers, Environment Specialists and L3 Support Engineers.Develop and strengthen PERSOL's strategic relationship with Murex and the broader Murex ecosystem, supporting joint opportunities and capability development.Partner with sales and account teams to identify and develop Murex Professional Services opportunities with banks across APAC.Lead technical pre-sales including client workshops, solution architecture, RFP/RFI responses, proposals, effort estimation, delivery models and technical presentations.Engage senior banking stakeholders across Global Markets, Treasury, Capital Markets, Technology, Architecture and Transformation.Provide senior technical and delivery governance across strategic Murex programs, ensuring quality, scalability, performance and successful delivery.Build a scalable regional delivery capability and specialist Murex talent ecosystem across APAC.Qualifications15+ years of technology experience, with significant experience in Murex / MX.3 and Financial Markets technology.Required SkillsDeep hands-on Murex technical background with the ability to operate at architecture and technical leadership level.Strong expertise across Murex architecture, MXML, integration, interfaces, Datamart, environment management, batch processing, Unix/Linux, SQL/databases and enterprise integration.Proven experience delivering complex Murex implementations, upgrades, migrations, integrations and transformation programs.Strong understanding of Murex Front-to-Back architecture and integration with wider banking platforms.Strong domain knowledge across Global Markets, Capital Markets, Treasury, Trading and Financial Markets.Experience working with Tier-1 or large regional banks and complex enterprise technology environments.Proven experience leading senior Murex technical teams and multi-location delivery organisations.Strong solution architecture, technical consulting, client-facing and stakeholder-management capabilities.Experience in Professional Services, technology consulting or system integration environments is highly preferred.Experience building a Murex practice, Centre of Excellence or large Murex technical capability would be highly advantageous.Strong relationships within the Murex ecosystem and APAC banking market would be an advantage.We are looking for a Murex technology leader who has progressed from a deep hands-on technical background into Director/Senior Director leadership — someone who can build the practice, engage senior banking stakeholders and still provide credible technical leadership across the complete Murex technology landscape.Preferred SkillsExperience in Professional Services, technology consulting or system integration environments is highly preferred.Experience building a Murex practice, Centre of Excellence or large Murex
