Senior Director of Treasury Business Management & Development

Role Overview:The Senior Director of Treasury Business Management & Development will provide strategic leadership across Treasury, driving business planning, performance management, strategic initiatives, and business development. The role will partner closely with senior stakeholders to identify growth opportunities, enhance Treasury’s commercial and operational performance, and support the delivery of the Bank’s strategic priorities, while ensuring strong governance and alignment with the Bank’s risk and regulatory framework.

Job Responsibilities

Lead the overall business management and strategic planning agenda for Treasury, aligned with the Bank’s strategic objectives.Develop and execute Treasury business plans, operating models, and strategic priorities.Drive the identification and development of new business opportunities, products, and revenue streams across Treasury.Monitor and analyze Treasury financial and business performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance tracking for the Treasury function.Develop and maintain management dashboards, KPIs, and performance reports to support executive decision-making.Partner with Treasury leadership to identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, and business performance.Lead strategic Treasury transformation and change initiatives, ensuring effective execution and delivery.Manage and coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving Treasury, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Technology, Operations, and other business units.Support the development and implementation of Treasury products and solutions in line with market trends and client requirements.Conduct market, competitor, and industry analysis to identify emerging opportunities and inform Treasury strategy.Establish and oversee governance frameworks, policies, processes, and operating procedures across Treasury Business Management.Prepare executive-level presentations, business cases, strategic papers, and management reports for senior leadership and relevant committees.Ensure Treasury initiatives are aligned with regulatory requirements, risk appetite, internal policies, and the Bank’s governance framework.Drive continuous improvement of Treasury processes, systems, controls, and operating efficiency.Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support Treasury’s strategic and commercial objectives.Job Requirements;Preferred Experience: Extensive experience within the banking or financial services sector, with 10+ years of relevant experience across Treasury, Treasury Business Management, Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, or a related function. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in strategic planning, business development, performance management, and leading complex cross-functional initiatives within a Treasury environment.Technical & Business Knowledge: Strong understanding of Treasury products and markets, liquidity and funding, balance sheet management, financial performance, and banking regulations, with the ability to translate business and market insights into strategic opportunities.Leadership & Competencies: Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives, influence senior stakeholders, drive business transformation, and manage high-impact projects. Strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking, communication, negotiation, and leadership capabilities are essential.
