From cult-favorite accessories to elevated collaborations with brands like Birkenstock and St. Regis, STAUD has built a world that’s distinctly LA yet globally resonant.STAUD offers a health care plan to include medical coverage, dental care, vision insurance, an FSA plan, a matching 401k plan, paid time off, paid retail holidays, and generous product discount & allowance.Role OverviewThe Senior Director of Logistics & Operations leads the company’s logistics and operations function and is responsible for the efficient movement, handling, and fulfillment of products from factories through 3PL partners and ultimately across Wholesale, Retail, and Ecommerce channels. This role owns the operational framework, performance management, and continuous improvement of the company’s logistics network, partnering closely with Production, Sales, Retail, Ecommerce, Wholesale, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to support business growth.The role provides leadership with clear visibility into operational performance, service levels, costs, risks, and bottlenecks, and proactively drives solutions to improve productivity, quality, speed, accuracy, and scalability. The Senior Director of Operations and Logistics is also responsible for evaluating and optimizing the company’s 3PL and logistics partner network and developing scalable international logistics models, including customs, duties, freight, landed costs, and margin implications.Essential DutiesLogistics Strategy & Operational LeadershipPartner with leadership to develop and execute logistics strategies that support the company’s short- and long-term growth objectives.Establish and maintain clear operational KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs) across logistics partners and internal teams, including productivity, speed, order accuracy, inventory handling, quality, cost, and on-time performance.Provide leadership with regular, transparent reporting on operational performance, SLA attainment, costs, risks, capacity, and emerging bottlenecks, with clear recommendations for corrective action.Proactively identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, capacity constraints, process gaps, and quality issues before they impact customers or business performance.Develop and implement scalable processes and continuous improvement initiatives based on operational data and performance analysis.Build a resilient and scalable logistics operating model capable of supporting the company’s domestic and international growth.Evaluate the company’s logistics network, including 3PL partners, facilities, transportation, and service models, to ensure the appropriate balance of productivity, cost, quality, capacity, and service.3PL, Warehouse & Fulfillment OperationsOwn the performance and operational relationship with the company’s 3PL and warehouse partners, ensuring agreed-upon service levels, productivity, quality, accuracy, and cost targets are consistently achieved.Establish, monitor, and report on 3PL SLAs and KPIs, proactively addressing performance gaps and driving corrective action.Evaluate 3PL partners and logistics solutions on an ongoing basis to ensure the company has the appropriate partners, capabilities, capacity, cost structure, and service levels to support its growth.Oversee the inbound receipt and handling of finished goods from factories into 3PL facilities and the subsequent fulfillment and movement of product across wholesale, retail, and ecommerce channels.Ensure inventory is accurately received, stored, handled, allocated, and fulfilled across the network.Drive improvements in product handling, packaging, labeling, quality control, and fulfillment processes to protect product integrity and improve the customer experience.Oversee the effective utilization of inventory management, warehouse management, order management, and ERP systems used by the company.Source, evaluate, and onboard new logistics partners and solutions as required by the business.Partner with Finance and other stakeholders to monitor and optimize logistics costs, including warehousing, labor, packaging, freight, duties, and other landed costs.Wholesale and Retail Order ManagementOversee the operational flow of wholesale customer orders and retail store transfer orders from order entry through fulfillment and shipment.Ensure orders are processed accurately, completely, and within established service levels.Partner with Wholesale Operations, Allocations, Retail Operations, Ecommerce, and 3PL partners to ensure smooth and timely product flow across channels.Establish clear processes, ownership, and communication protocols across Wholesale Operations, Retail Operations, and Logistics.Monitor channel fulfillment performance and proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact shipment timing, customer experience, or revenue.Budgeting & Network EconomicsDevelop and manage operational budget for logistics costs including facilities, labor, supplies, and freight.Continuously optimize operations and identify effective ways to reduce spend and enhance the customer experience.Partner with Finance to understand and optimize the landed cost and margin implications of logistics decisions, particularly as the business scales internationally.Identify opportunities to improve the cost-to-serve across channels and markets while maintaining required service levels.Cross-Functional & Partner LeadershipServe as the senior operational liaison between the company and its manufacturing, freight, customs, 3PL, and other logistics partners.Lead the internal Wholesale Operations team and establish clear accountability, priorities, performance expectations, and development goals.Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Production, Sales, Retail, Ecommerce, Finance, Merchandising, Planning, and Customer Experience teams to ensure effective product flow and operational alignment.Lead regular business reviews with key logistics partners, using performance data and SLAs to drive accountability, continuous improvement, and service excellence.Escalate material operational risks and issues to leadership with clear analysis, proposed solutions, and recommended actions.Prerequisite Knowledge, Skills, and EducationBachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in supply chain management or related field and/or 8+ years of similar professional experience.Experience in managing teams of full-time employees.Experience in analyzing metrics and data-driven decision making.Proven ability to develop and lead a scalable logistics and operations strategy across multiple channels and markets.Experience developing and managing international logistics operating models, including customs, duties, freight, landed cost, and margin considerations.Proven ability to consistently deliver on KPIs.Technical and applied understanding of logistics software, warehouse management systems, and ERP systems.Experience working with International 3PLs in Europe and AsiaStrong negotiation and interpersonal skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Knowledge of Full Circle is a plus.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with an emphasis on Excel.Self-motivated team player.Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.Ability
